My Process and Ethos

Handcrafted in Gold

Every piece is forged by me in my home workshop—inside my tiny house in Bussum, The Netherlands. I don’t mass-produce, use molds, or rely on casting. Each jewel is handcrafted from scratch out of solid gold wire.

This process is deeply meaningful to me. I believe the power of craftsmanship lies not only in the visual beauty of the finished piece but also in the energy that is infused into it through hours of mindful, dedicated work.

Care, presence, and loving intention are the core values I bring to my goldsmithing—and I infuse them into everything I create.

Ethical Gemstones

I care deeply about using ethically mined and fairly traded gemstones. Unfortunately, the gemstone market is still largely untransparent, and finding high-quality, traceable stones can be a challenge.

Most of my gemstones come from a Brazilian family business based in Amsterdam, run by Fabio and Andrea Onofri. With decades of experience, they are involved in every step of the stone’s journey—from the mine to the final sale—minimizing the number of intermediaries and ensuring conscious handling of both people and precious stones.

I believe the true power and magnetism of gemstones go beyond their colour or cut. When treated with care, gemstones carry a potent and unique energy. That’s why I choose to work only with stones that have been mined and cut with respect and intention.

I’ll share more about Andrea and Fabio (from By Art Crystals) later on this page.

Lifetime Warranty

I believe in creating lasting, high-quality pieces that can be cherished for a lifetime—and ideally passed on to future generations. That’s one of the main reasons I choose to work exclusively with gold.

Gold stands the test of time better than any other precious metal. In fact, it only becomes more beautiful with age.

My wish is for your sacred jewel to become part of your story—and, in time, part of the stories of those who come after you.

If anything ever happens to your jewel, simply send it back to me. I’ll be happy to repair it, free of charge.
